Kevin Kunstmann -- I was born and raised in Cranston, Rhode Island but left the cold New England winters to study at the University of Arizona. I wrestled and played baseball throughout high school and much of college. Always being active and involved in sports, it was natural for me to find a career path in fitness. My humble beginnings turned into a true passion for training and helping people reach their fitness goals. After spending several years behind a desk as an art director, I turned my attention to a 111 time career as a fitness specialist. I'm certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and I'm also certified by USA Weightlifting and CPRIAED certified.  I work with a wide variety of clients including men, women, youth, and athletes of all levels.  My specialties are strength gains, power development, full body circuit training, and high intensity interval training. I believe that variety is the key to a successful training program and has had much success in helping people attain their fitness goals. I'm always willing to offer tips and new ways to spice up your exercise regimen so be sure to ask if you have any questions about your program.  "Get the most out of life and never stop reaching for your goals!"

When I was 20 I got married to my wife Kendra and we moved to Charleston, SC for us both to finish up college. While attending the College of Charleston I competed in their powerlifting competition and won the heavyweight division and set all new school records in my first competition there and in my second I won the superheavy division and set all new school records in that division as well. I still hold the overall records in all catagories except the squat which was broken by a person that I trained to compete. WHile at CofC I wanted to learn as much about how the human body worked as I could so I focused on starting at the cellular level. I graduated from CofC with a BS in Biochemistry, a BS in Molecular Biology and BA in Chemistry.  After graduating I obtained the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist Certification(CSCS) from the National Strength and Conditioning Association(NSCA). I am currently a member of the NSCA and the American College of Sports Medicine(ACSM).
